It’s always fun to look at these statistics! I am glad to see Brazil being in the top 4 countries, now that statistic really makes sense to me, especially considering Brazil’s size as a country. Although I am highly surprised at the fact that there is no Russia, considering the country’s bigger size compared to Brazil.

Blogging and social media have definitely captured a great deal of the market’s attention and is growing to become more effective than simple e-mail marketing. I do agree that e-mail marketing is too valuable and will be here to stay for the long-term. However, marketers will need to develop new ways of selling and communicating and not just rely on e-mail marketing.

If you want your SE rankings to move fast, maintain a blog on a regular schedule. It works great in building authority once its done right.

I don’t think blogs will really die, I think there will always be people who will take the time to read once the topic is interesting. Social media may steal a great deal of users’ attention but not kill blogging. There’s room for everyone if we’re just creative.
