WordPress is currently the most popular blogging platform in the world with its newest version at over 11 Million downloads already. This mature, robust and secure platform has gained the respect of business people worldwide with a large number of popular, high profile websites entrusting this system to deliver their services and maintain their image online.
Though many of us use WordPress just for blogging, it offers us much more than that and can be extended and upgraded to suit and accomplish almost any goal you have online. So to help you get the picture and also gain some insight and/or inspiration, I’ve decided to share some already popular, and not so popular but beautiful, sites that are enjoying success with WordPress as the backbone of their business online.

4. ProBlogger

5. CSS Remix

6. Phone.com

8. Wall Street Journal Online Magazine

13. Blu Homes

Thanks for reading Thomas
Wow I never knew such well known blogs use WordPress, it just goes to show you how useful it is for maintaining and updating your blog. It makes it so much easier to manage content and manage comments using WordPress and each one looks different which shows you all the different themes WordPress can have.

Cool! Did not know they all used WordPress…
Thanks for commenting Ben
awesome list, very inspiring. Did you search for and find these on your own or is there a source link I can go to check out others?
Thanks for reading Kirk

Wow, those are some pretty big names there Sam. A testimony to the quality of the WordPress platform that these folks would opt to use WordPress instead of paying someone to put something together.

Wow, it comes as a shocker to me, to find out that some of those really famous and well known websites are running wordpress! Just goes to show you, how fantastic of a blog publishing software wordpress really is! And by the way, that number 11 million is staggering for sure!
