I completely agree. I usually pay attention to themes that were created by well known developers. Most of these themes were created by developers who would normally sell their work but decided to giveaway a freebie
However, I have found a few free themes out there that contain malicious code, so I’m really cautious.
The last item on your list, NewsPress, has sponsored links in the footer which probably makes it not a good option.

That very amazing , I will use one of them for my Blog .. sorry but sometimes I found such kind or themas having Gambling or casino related or other unwanted website links in the footer ……What Should I do to remove them
