I’m always on the look-out for successful and creative local blogs to review and showcase, since I’m a strong believer of the fact that here in the Caribbean we have some very dedicated and successful bloggers who are ready to push their blogging sites to the next level. Internet Penetration & Usage for Jamaica
Based on a report from the website, Internet World Stats.com, Jamaica has seen a growth of 2,466.7% in internet users since the year 2000, which is now at 1,540,000 Jamaicans and is growing. That is a local penetration of 55% and represents a usage of 16.7% of total Caribbean internet users with the Dominican Republic being the largest user of internet in the Caribbean at 32.6%.
